What about a harbour in Asia or Australia like Hong Kong, Singapore, Sidney etc etc because we now already have harbours from Europe and the US.

Barges and Rivers with locks would be nice.
But a complete world without having to load the next scenery would be my real dream come true. So you can go more or less anywhere where ships can go. Just like in MS FS.

The Great Lakes of USA. Including channels, locks, harbors, interactive industries, AND some ship models of the "1,000 footer" ore carriers. Also, as long as we're making a "Wish List," how about the Edmund Fitzgerald. Who could resist a chance to try and make the run that sunk her with all hands in 1975?

The dutch "waddenzee" or just any other sea which is very shallow and good navigation is required for using the channels.

Also better approaches for Rotterdam, Hamburg and New York

I think the ports of Piraeus,the port of Patras, the old harbour of Mykonos in Greece
Genoa,Naples,Venice in Italy and
Barcelona,Malaga in Spain it would be a fine option for those who
love manoeuvre ferries and cruise ships on such enviroments

I would like to see Helsinki (Finland), Turku (Finland), Mariehamn (Ã…land/Finland), Stockholm (Sweden), Tallinn (Estland) St. Petersburg (Russia) + The Baltic sea as sea area, with country's that surrounds it...

You know all of these ports won't actually be put into the game you know? Ports takes a VERY long time to design and build and we're just making a thread rediculously long for no reason.

Sorry to sound like a nag but deep down we all know 99.8% of these will not make it into the game because of the time it takes to make them.

I think we're all aware of that, but at least giving ideas for what the next port could be...

Of course everyone would like to have their own living hood in the game, but that can't be possible.

My opinion is that Hamburg and Rotterdam are very lookalike, but phi phi island is something totally different. The more differents environments for navigation the better.

Well I came across it once on another forum and at that time I wanted to make a port like on another game that so i wonder if I could make that part of the port for ss08.

Hi Ben

There will not be any new areas in the near future (this year) as they are busy with developing the multiplayer update, the 2006 add-on for 2008 and the vessel subscription service.

But I certainly want to see Hong Kong in the sim some day. I think we need some Asian harbours.

How many times do you want me to repeat my answer?!

No - it is not posible. Even if you somehow model the port for SS, VSTEP will not have the time needed to implement that area. Implementing objects and areas yourself is not possible. Please use the search function...

I must confess ...I dont want to read 9 pages to write down my wishes so anyone else might have written before!
IÂ´d like to have the Helsinki harbour and maybe something like a swamp (+the boats you need for driving through a swamp) or a kind of desert waterway like you find in Australia (+crocodiles!!!!LOL)
And some inland water navigation!!
