Yes, showing the ships name is preferred..
For instance: the Elbe Ferry is actually the Hinrich Wilhelm Kopf, and the Latitude is an imaginery ship..

I checked out sch24, it is Afrika. But please try to get a ship with her name showing..

Alex.... would really appreciate if you post pictures where the name of the ship is visible - either a bow view or a stern view. That is the essence of the game.
