I was wondering, the ships look a bit boxy, does anyone know what would be a config to have less boxes around the edges of the boats?

Usually having more AA (anti-aliasing) smoothes the edges..Check your graphics card settings..
You may need to find a balance between quality and speed..

You sounded like a mechanic there for a second, alright Ill lift up the hood to see what needs adjusting, thanks

It's a ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series on a Windows 7 operating system. Funny thing is I can't find the graphic setting anywhere, I though this card would make it smooth not boxy. Flight sim X, that has antialsiing in the game so you could set it there, I have silent hunter 5 with runs smooth with most features. The only to sims atm with boxy edges are my rail simulator and SSE. I also have  a HD monitor quite big, if it helps

You have to set AA in your Catalyst Control Center(CCC), you can go there by right clicking the red ATi logo in the right down corner of your screen

you should look at this tutorial I wrote a few months ago, it explains how to set-up antia aliasing with ATI cards :

wow, thanks for that, this is the first time I worked with these type of cards and I know about 10% about them, and a few things I heard from here and there. This will defendant come in handy
