I'm sorry but I'm not quiet familiar with those glues and those paints. I don't like it to be so difficult on this so I would recommend you to use the ones I named in my post of what I use, but it's up to you to decide.

Well, I don't get my paints online, I ride 10 KM in total on my bike to get my paints  :P

But if I were you I would look for a paint or hobby shop and ask if they have got any modellers paint of Humbrol, Revell, Modelmaster, etc. My brands are Revell and Humbrol.

Local hobby stores like Virtual Skipper said, or you can get an idea from http://www.model-ships.com/ Go to wooden ships on the left.

Only the hull, deck and deckhouse is made of wood. The details like the cranes, winches and railings are made of messing..  ;)

So how do you go about making tons of water for a diorama? I am clearing half of my train table to make a 1:700 scale harbour and some ships. I know Woodland Scenics makes realistic water but you would have to get alot. Thanks in advance  :2thumbs:

Well, yesterday I picked up some very very very very cheap models  :2thumbs:
One of them I couldnt actually make out if it was made to look like a shipwreck  ???
Everything was broken but Im restoring it slowly but surely.
I have reassembled the sails and stiched the bits on and glued snapped bits.
Just need to do other stuff, replace some wood, give it a lick of paint and it should be good to go!

And the other one well, that was in superb condition, only had to fix the anchor holder.
They arent that special but its rare to pick up any type of model at all!

http://shop.conrad.nl/hobby/modelspoor/landschap/strooimateriaal/water/240827.html

here you can order model water CPT Chris.

It melts at 110 degrees so you need to warm it up, and you can use it over and over again  ;D

only thing is its in dutch.

A tip for Titanic modellers, here's a site which can be VERY usefull if you are building a Titanic.
The paint jobs look more specific then what stands in your manual.
I'm now even using it for my Titanic model!

Here's the site: http://titanic-model.com/paint/#misc

And here are some pics of my Titanic WIP:

Normaly the keel would be almost bright red (according to the manual).  :P
