British Royal Navy
« on: August 25, 2010, 11:28:42 »

When we got back from our trip on Cap Finistere we saw loads of navy ships even the Ark Royal, among the other ships we saw were, HMS Lancaster, HMS Dover, HMS Edinburgh and best of all, HMS Victory.
Have you seen any others.

Title changed as England does not have a Navy.

The HMS Queen Elizabeth, once completed, will be the biggest naval warship ever to be built for the Royal Navy. That is, assuming she survives the Spending Review which is due out next month. (20th Oct)

I have a funny feeling we are going to end up with only one super carrier, not two as originally envisaged. I wouldn't be surprised if construction work on second vessel, HMS Prince of Wales is to be halted and eventually abandoned.
