Yup..  ::)

I'd prefer something similar to the SS06 and SS08 method, where one's achievements in the game - at least as long as they played while in online mode -are displayed.

Maybe something like that will follow, and this could be an early placeholder, to also show the staff who has a valid copy. And then perhaps we won't spend too much time on pirates who come asking for help with problems they would not have if they had bought and registered, a legal copy.  :)

I don't care about achievements in the game..But this way of plugging the game is below SS standards I feel.. :)

Ah, well my guess is that it's not just purely meant as advertising, but more to distinguish between people who have a valid claim too full customer support when they run into problems with the game, and non customers (though ofcourse we offer support to would-be-buyers aswell). People that are on the forum and can read these tags are already aware of the game's existance ofcourse. But it always helps to keep them reading that 'Extremes' title. But somehow I don't think this was chosen solely as a plug.   :)

I'm sure you're right, it just seems strange there was no such thing in SS2008..
Let's hope many more may appear to benefit from full customer support in the future.. ;)

I was thinking its for to be aware of illegal users(which is a very good idea).
I've seen 1 member and he was asking for help"the official extreme user tittle"I think this is an extra tool.
If it is not under his name,and he's asking for help.We can directly that he maybe forgot to register,or that he maybe an illegal copy has.

Hi Saltydog,

Like Marcstrat said, this "registered extremes user" has been added temporarily after moderator's requests (me, amongst other), because several users wrote technical support request, and it turned out those users were using illegal versions of the game.

This should be sooner or later replaced by an indication of your achievements within the game.

Hi Denis,

Great news! Would be nice to see the 'shields' back again. I'll get to work on the missions so I have something nice to show when they're on :lol:
