Hi,
I'm new to Ship Simulator and I decided to try my hand at re-skinning the patrol boat.
I have included the a zip file with the .dds and .xml, feel free to try it.

I may try another one in a little while.....if I can be patient long enough to do it again!

I looked at the ship and if you zoom in close, it needs a little cleanup here and there.   
I cleaned it up some from the previous post, but it still needs some work. It is really OK unless you want to zoom in close. 
Attatched is the .psd file so you may clean it up yourself or make a mod or two. 

EDIT: I noticed a couple of downloads, it would be nice to receive a relpy to tell me what you think. ...WW

Good work. I also tried to download Nub's reskin, but I was not able to do it....

Is there someone who could help me to achieve it?
And, just speaking of "new" ship, is there any place where is possible to obtain new ships???

I use Adobe Photoshop Elements to paint, because that's what I've got, can't afford new fancy software for such things. Vstep includes an Adobe plug-in in the tools folder of ShipSim 2006 to convert the .psd into .dds, it is a snap.

Glad you liked it. I've been thinking of researching patrol boats in New York and maybe painting one up for New York Harbor.

Good, Adobe Photoshop Elements is what I'm using. Check your topic you started, I replied as to the files in SS2006 that you can repaint and where to find them, plus the plug-in to convert them for SS2006.

I noticed in a thread somewhere that you have been using Shetchup and have been working on a model, I'm sure you can figure out the repaint with no problem. I'll be glad to help all I can, but I don't consider myself to be an expert. Let me know if you have more questions.

Yes i have made a model in Sketchup, and i think that is good for my first try
