I see some of the guys on the Dutch forum have received the game and are playing it now & I also read that the first patch is already underway!

HINT: You can use Google translate to decode their "secret transmissions"!

What? O.o No Spambot? Why not? =P

I still like the idea of Vstep getting Spambot to hand-deliver copies of SSE in sailor outfits. x3 In a perfect world, it would be a reality.

I dunno, I have an extremely potent imagination. =P

Edit:

Question:

Is there any way to know the status of my Boxed Pre-order if I pre-ordered it from the Ship Sim site? I'm paranoid about knowing if it got shipped or not and when it might get here. x3 (Me and 5,000 other people, I'm sure.)

What size is the boxed version anyway ?  Is it small enough that the mailman could quietly slip it into your letterbox ?
Or would he need to ring your doorbell to hand it to you..?   :)

(standard letterbox size here is 26,5 x 3.2 cm)

At a minimum it appears to be no larger than a standard DVD case, but it probably has a little but of bubble wrap around it.

In the first case you would need to check your letterbox every day, (something I don't normally do)
In the second case, someone should be at your home to greet the mailman, (preferably with sounding of trumpets and strewing of flower petals by pretty Spambot.. ;D )

I did not order the boxed version only the download and as yet no email to the link to download it. I am beginning to think that I should have ordered the boxed version. Yes there is a patch on the ship sim web site http://www.shipsim.com/downloads/updates  (http://www.shipsim.com/downloads/updates). When I get the nod to download will I be able to will the servers be able to cope, will I be playing SSE today? I hope so.

Has anyone got the email with the link to download yet? :-\ 8)

Same here. Still no sign of the SSE game, so it's Star Wars EpI-III for me tonight.

I will need to drink a few strong drinks before I can face that pure annoying Jar Jar Binks character! lol

lol, good one! Some Star Wars fans even went as far as making a version without the Jar Jar Binks character in the film - George Lucas got wind of this and was not very happy!

Sorry, going off topic now, so I'll stop now.....
