No, what is the GHz number?

If you run DXDiag, it will have a line similar to this:

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.4GHz

What is important is this part:
2.40GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.4GHz

well i have to wait till christmas to get SSE because thts whene im getting my new proceser cuz my computer will struggle to run this game. so it looks like i cnt get that new green peace vessel

i bet you can buy that vessel after shipsim has been out for awhile

Just do what iv done
Pre order the boxed verson try it on the computer and if it dose not work you have to buy a new one... there about Â£8 old but it probly work
