We might be needing a VSTEP official here to help us out with the "mystery" of Ship Simulator Extremes Demo Version.

Hi Larsdehaan,

The whole point of a demo is to see if 1) You like the game, and 2) If you like the game see how it runs on your PC :)

I would assume that the demo is for the people who are still unsure if they want the game or not, those who are unsure if their systems can even handle it, as well as a way to pull in new customers - not for those of us who have preordered it already.

But how do we know it will work on our systems...?

How many pictures / trailers and video´s do you need more, then the ones we´ve got !

For all the eager buyers like us; there is no need for the Demo !   ;D

It is the new comers, who need to see what the game is like.  :o

vr. gr. / kind regards, Erik

A demo version of SSE 2010 does indeed make sense for those who wants to try it on someone's PC, looking if the PC meets the minimal requirements. Vstep could make a 30 days trial demo which is fully functional for the 30 days.

MokMok, VSTEP always makes their demos replayable. What Is the point of a 30 day Trial when you can have an endless Demo? And no one calls Ship Simulator Extremes SSE 2010, SS10E, or SS10 anymore, just SSE.

And the Demo will gives us a preview of all of the features SSE will have. With SSE less than 3 days away, a Demo is usually planned for the month after the game is release for those who didn't or couldn't get SSE at the time of release.

It will release everywhere on August 27th. VSTEP and Paradox plan on sending it to the people who ordered the Boxed Version few days early and arrive on their doorstep on that very day.

I myself want to try the demo for SSE because i wanted to purchase SSE but i cannot rush it without knowing how it would perform on my PC. There is only assumptions that my PC would run it up to minimum settings but i need to try it to see if it would pleased me.

Hi K Jack,

As posted earlier in the topic the demo will be available in September. Unfortunately until then you may have to wait to see if the game will run on your computer.

Adam
