I intend to try and bring to market (if there is enough demand!) a ships console for use with Ship Simulator (and Virtual Sailor) but we are holding off until we see the control options within SS2008.

So any ideas/suggestions would be helpful.

If you need someone to help design it, market it, and help get it distributed. I own my own business that offers such services. I would love to jump onto the project with you.

Attached photos of the finished first version of the product. Design is Copyright.

Not very elegant I know. I don't have tools or a workshop. Main thing is it works very well. The slider action for throttles, rudder, thrusters is very smooth and consistent, with a positive centre zero.
