they say if the volcano Katla erupts it will be a global disaster all over the world, possibly making it impossible for vegetables to grow anywhere, or something along those lines.

I think the UK are starting to lift some of the airspace bans currently in place for tomorrow, not sure on that but it sounds like air traffic will be moving again.
