Mine is a ship called the ALLANWELL, from the book "Seaspray and Whiskey"
The Allanwell is a tramp steamer and the book is the story of a radio officer who joins the ship to find the entire crew to be a bunch of incompetent drunks until they run out of booze and sober up.
It reminds me of a couple of ships that I have sailed on.
Although it is fiction the author was a radio officer at sea and many of the stories are based on his experiences.
