n this program in vestep folder C:\Program Files\Vstep\unregister.exe
it's seems it dos nothing but it remove all register add ones in you win register and C:\Users\you user name on the PC\Documents\ShipSim2008 User Data. so if you will backup custom mission before ruining the program so do it now.
