Hi Zilverenmist,

What is it you would like us to do? I'm confused since you posted twice, one saying to broadcast it and then another asking us to make it. Can you clarify on this a bit more.

yep! (was out),

The idea was to do a ccc for Shipsim Radio, so that owners of an Ship Simulator licence, can send in music, and you let it hear in a (for exampe once in certain time) special ShipSimulator owners composed and made material.

If that would be possible, the next step could be combine the best music on a CD, or it could be implemented as a music radio sound add on, for many people that are out of the busy area, turn on some music on long trips.

It is just an idea, and sure, I hope my music is good enough for that, but even if it is not, I think it is a reasonable idea. Write a disk and label it is no big deal, best is to register that at Buma, so that the legal owners and musicians all can count on a fair share.

Mad_Fred seem to play music, so I was even thinking of a shipsim band, but that might be difficult to organize.

Clear now?

It sounds intresting however, regarding making up a SSR CD this would not be possible due to a number of reasons i.e. Cost and more

Most people have their own dvd and cd writers, it could also be offerd as image file (iso), ready to burn, in that way you leave the costs at the customers side.

I like your political correct answer  :D
So can ShipSim Musicians send an mp3 and will they be streamed?
Or do you think you might have a future copyright problem?
You see some of my music is still free, but most is already in hands of the big bad BUMA STEMRA.
Since it is at Buma, my music is ignored by the music industry, not because it is bad, but because of its political charge.
I sung protest lyrics against Balkenende and Zalm far before the crises was a fact.
Reason to ask about the music is/was: we can use any extra income to maintain our foundation.
And as you know, if you don't ask, you never get an answer :)

Thanks anyway for taking your time.

If the song you send is yours which from what i understand it is, then there won't be any problem in broadcasting it aslong as there isn't anything that is too explicit

On the edge of 23st May some music, that I don't expect to be qualified for Ship Sim Radio.

This is why I put a link here with the zipped music files.
The total file is to big to send in mail, some music is recorded in Buma rate 320Kb.
Next was if you would not use it as radio material, I still want the ShipSimulator Comunity to hear it if they want.
So here the link for Shipsim Radio and all Shipsim forum users:

Hope you enjoy,

Hi Zilvernmist,

On behalf of all of us at Ship Sim Radio we would like to thank you for allowing us to sample some of your songs.
They're really good and we've all enjoyed listening to them

I don't think there's a question with out a doubt that we can play these on air, we would be much obliged.
So everyone can hear them  :)

Once again than you very much for taking the time to contact us and share your musical greatness with us!

Many Kind Regards,

The Ship Sim Radio Management Team

P.S. My personal favorite is Imaginary Tunes because it sounds slightly familiar to a song in a video I like on youtube and have never known the name of. Now I've got your very nice longer version to listen to!
