I read in the news a while ago that there is a world-wide shortage of sea containers..
Perhaps they borrow them from each other..

hehe dont you just love irony  ;D

Both the Stena Hollandica in herself and the fact she is carrying P&O trailers means P&O is at rock bottom ::)

Some nice pics of the Stena Transporter (Now in Italy as the Strada Corsa) taken from the Pride of Rotterdam. Look at the containers.... (In the second picture you can see the old Stena Hollandica in the same spot as MJ's picture was taken)

I saw more P&O containers on the Stena ships than on POR!!!

There is nothing unusual in this, P&O as a transport company and P&O as a shipping company are two separate outfits, obviously where possible they will put P&O trailers on a P&O ship, but in the end they just put them wherever they need to, to get them where they have to be.

If you look at all of the big container ship companies, they all carry each others containers all the time (although I was once on an Andrew Weir ship where the chief officer spent ages arranging all of the Andrew Weir containers along the outboard sides!)

I'm sorry to disappoint you all but, without noticing it, the MS Insignia came a day earlier (today).  :'(

She was already gone by five but I couldn't see her anyway because of the weather.
