It's a very nice ship, I liked it a lot. You'll like it, if you ever decide to go on :)

Now I understand why so many people like that Maersk ferry...   Only a perfect angle to show her right!

Hmmm, ferries I've seen are:

Chi-Cheemaun

And ferries in Toronto and New York City harbor (sorry, cannot provide a picture of the Toronto ferries).

Hmm whats the shortest length they can be in feet to be in your "ship" Category

A ship is any vessel capable of taking to the open water for extended periods. Therefore technically a racing yacht is a ship and a short sea crossing (such as Dover-Calais In the same environment) could possibly be argued as a boat.

But as this is Mr WM topic and he asked no o/t discussion,

These are two of my favorites :) "Knossos Palace" and "Festos Palace", they are exactly the same! My family and I use this very often to go from Athens to Crete :)

M/S Pride of Telemark and Sister ships

The only sister ship is the "Stena Danica" - a real workhorse trading the same route from the very beginning until now which is quite unusual for such an old ferry.

The stern part of superstructure on the Ulysses looks weird with those "false walls"...

Oddly, she doesn't seem that big when you're aboard her, I don't think.

She is a nice ship though, I've been on her 3-4 times I'd say...But that was before I got my Digital camera unfortunately.

If half of it is made of false walls, I'm not surprised it seems smaller than it looks.

You didn't have to post in both Fav Ferries topics, especially since the other one is like 3 months old.. and this one is like 6 months old...

It's my topic & I'm glad to see my "ferry game" is still going & you're not a judge here.  ;)

I see WM has included a rule to try and stop me posting a certain large car carrying hovercraft.

  • Those have to be ship(s), that you seen by your own eyes. Not on images, videos, etc.

BUT... Tiger 12 came to Plymouth last year and did a few trials, and they kept her next to where I was on work experience at the time. So I've seen her with my own two eyes and that means I can post hovercraft-based eye candy.

It's a ferry which carries 10 passengers. The original intention was to run from the Barbican to Saltram Beach.
