Joining the NATO convoy?

There aren't actually any convoys as such, there is a NATO (EU?) presence in the area and we let them know where we are.  We are fairly lucky in that we are relatively fast and high sided, it's a bit like Paddy and Mick getting chased by the tiger and paddy stops to put his running shoes on, Mick says "you'll never outrun a tiger in those shoes" and Paddy says "no, but I'll outrun you", we don't have to be pirate proof, we just need to be a harder target than the big slow fully laden oil tanker a mile astern of us.
