I don't know, I feel they are very big compared to the current fleet, why woyukd P&O put them in direct competition, where would TEF get the money.

And where does LD fit in with it all?

That is a shame if Snaefell goes - the last InCat 74m in the UK...

and bound for lay-up only probably as well...

A lot of ships have been laid up recently... One that suprised me was the Amorique (? I think). Strange to lay a passenger ship up..

Faktaomfarty is showing the former Hoverspeed GB as being "arrested"

http://www.faktaomfartyg.se/hoverspeed_great_britain_1990.htm

doesn't sound good...

yes the Armorique was laid up last winter... hadn't been in service a year...

That is very strange...maybe a safety inspection or they haven't been paying port taxes..

I saw a very sad picture of the Seafrance Cezanne in Ships Monthly today.
Laid up in Dunquirk  :( Shame to let a good ship like that go to waste.

http://hhvferry.com/blog/?tag=seafrance-cezanne

And also Iscomar, have had to lay up two ships because of rising port taxes.

The Mercedes del mar & Isabel del mar.
Leaving just the Nura Nova in the whole of its fleet!

Consequently scrapping 6 routes out of seven.
