Marmite Man returns
« on: September 05, 2009, 21:08:10 »

Hi folks.

You may have noticed that I haven't been around much recently. Here's some of the reasons why...

I have been working on a lot of new things which you should all enjoy. You'll hear about them soon.

I have also been working on new features at Creators Forum. They are up and running now. (for instance you can get vessel repaints with missions that use them, and within the next week or so you can get new lights for most SS2008 vessels).

I have also changed Creators Forum to handle things for SS PRO and Extremes, ranging from new missions, vessel design & development to radio sounds, lights and buoys etc.

In early August, my son and his good lady (as opposed to the bad one  ;D) had a daughter. My new granddaughter and my still very young grandson get a lot of attention from me. I meet with my grandchildren at least four times each week now.

In my real life, my work has been incredibly busy. Been to Ontario, Stockholm recently as well as dozens of places in the UK. I'm off to Northern Holland in the morning and then to Denmark in a week or so. Then off to Utrecht and Munich and Detroit and Boston and...

And I have been in and out of hospital last week (nothing too serious) and am now spending a couple of hours each evening walking around the coastline where I live.

All of which leaves me very little time here. Sorry.

Hi Terry, nice to see you on here again.

Congratulations on the baby girl! Now you're a grandpa... haha... :P (Edit: Sorry, you already were. I just re-read your post  )
Northern Holland? Do you mean the provinces south and north-Holland specifically, or the whole of the Netherlands (this is confused many times)? If you mean the whole of the Netherlands, where in the north? Seeing as I live there too, and it's small, so I'm a little curious. You don't have to tell me, it's alright.

Glad it's nothing big with the hospital.

Thanks for letting us hear from you again & take care!

No, it's 29Km east of Schipol/Amsterdam and 22 Km north of Utrecht. I know it's not in Utrecht. I go there quite a lot...

I go to Rotterdam a lot. So Utrecht and Bussum seem "up north" to me.

Have you ever seen a man blow Marmite out of a trombone?

Whatever you do, don't sit in any of the front 5 rows!
