Following on from Mr WMs topic... I'd be interested to hear guesses of my age...

Create a similar topic with a poll then!

I don't think that I am important enough to justify my own topic, let alone poll.

Ok then...    It's more likely that you're somewhere 35 - 40, less likely 40 - 45.

I mean I'm curious why you made that guess...

That's a long complicated story, more like an algorithm of mathematical calculations in MathCAD.

A lot of big words there...   :o

Well, anyway I was right about your age range (having in mind that there could be a 5% imprecision in calculations).

With the average age of a bloke in Western Europe (and Britain) being 75... and you guessed a 5 year age range, you have a 1:15 chance of being right... But also a 14:15 chance of being wrong.

Your wit is only funny when it's said for the first time.
Repetition of one & the same usually causes boredom & lack of attention...

The average life expectancy for a bloke in the Western world is 78... so whatever age you come up with has a 1.28% chance of being correct.

You have guessed a 10 year (11, really) margin so there is a 12.82% chance you are correct... But also a 77.18% chance you are wrong. Your call.

Well, at least it is funny, the first time.

EDIT: I do have to take my hat off to you and your ability to remember/find these things... I just trawled through your posts looking for a couple of memorable postings, before deciding that life is to short to do so...

Strange - I thought similar at 30-40...

Was it because of the same complicated calculations in MathCAD?  ;D
