err... textures? I haven't got that far yet
multiples of 16, i.e 256,512. bmp or tga.
open uv image editor bottom window.load texture.
Object use key F (uv face select) then a for all.
Right click on each window to make active (I think).
slect by Right click on face to texture.
Alt plus Z to put texture on.
Alternatively press key U mouse over object window & depending on what view you are in put on actual shape of object.
Experiment on a cube.
I wonder if a moderator will delete this as off thread topic
