Any additional comments or suggestions welcome here:

The current survey omits the most important question which is  Would you prefer to see a totally different sim forcing you to buy a whole new game or to further develop SS2008?
Ports added or new ships mean nothing to me if they will not be able to be used in SS2008.

Off topic but relevant to the survey  -  who thought of giving a product as a prize that most interested people will have bought before the the winner is drawn?  Would it not be better to give a voucher usable  against any new product like a new ship or environment which may be for sale later.

Which is more appealing to Me in Ship Simulator, the technical simulator aspects (such as docking, tugging, crane operations, etc.) or the fast, speedy arcade style of playing (such as races, ramping, and such): Technical simulator aspects of course!

Any additional comments or suggestions welcome here:

1) New navigation instruments - radar with it's functions - EBL, VRM, PI, etc.;

2) New really ECDIS - looking electronic chart with improved plotting system and containing complete navigation information (buoys, fairways, leading lights) and the option to plot a course not only in the free - room mode;

3) Autopilot (like in the Virtual Sailor) for long distance passages;

4) All kinds of buoys with additional lights, ship and coast lighting at the nighttime; possibility to switch on/off ship's navigation lights;

5) Wawes not restricted in the areas where are the harbour and the part of sea (Marseille, The Solent, etc.), like in the Virtual Sailor... same like option when the wawes are stopped by breakwaters and moles so they cannot run into the inner roadstead of the harbour;

6) Improved weather system (snow, hail, ice), variable weather during the game and the option to change it during the simulation;

7) All berths of all harbours equipped with mooring bollards;

 Several large vessels and new sailing areas;

9) Other little things (improved AI for other ships, improved dynamics, etc.).

I prefer docking, tugging, and all the other technical aspects. I don't care about the speed and the races;
my suggestion (or better, my wish) is to simulate to leave a seaport and really sail to another one all over the world, maybe stopping into other sea ports to make operations, then sail again till the destination. However, this simulator is a very good work, to me!thanks!
