When New Horizons comes out, can it be used on 06 like the 2006 Add-On could be used on 08?

Hiya Titanic1912 :)

New Horizons is designed specifically for Ship Simulator 2008, so it will only work on that game, not 2006 ;)

Regards.

By the way, I can't find the 2006 Add-On in America and the boxed version here has been sold out for a while and I prefer the boxed version. Is there a way to get it in America?

It is a test server, to test the new ships that will come in the new add-on. We can't play with those ship's untill the add-on is released.

March 22 ... what a long time...
Maybe you can raffle some test-accounts with a kind of contest so you have real players on the new horizonservers instead of only 'experienced testers'. :) before the real release...

Perhaps the beta testers want to test without having to dodge the idiots who try to ram them.

Those 'experienced testers' ARE real players too, you know. Just because someone is a Developer or part of the forum staff, doesn't make them any less of a player. ;D

Hehe,

I was expecting this reaction from one of the real pro players !
I just mean that pro's often oversee simple things that 'normal' users will notice.

Will the 'anchorbug' be fixed too?
(this is when your boat is upside-down and you throw the anchor it goes up in the air and the boat is attached to the sky !... When somebody else flips you back over by throwing a line, the cable stays up in the air. My opinion is that the pro-testers did'n even tried this before the release...)

But I am really looking forward to the add-on ofcourse !!

Hi Koboi,

Do you know the French expression: C'est le ton qui fait la musique ?

Back to the English, perhaps if you ajust the tone a bit, you'll be getting a lot more !

The game is allways in a development fase, since I follow it as an interested player since july 2006.

Developers can't do everything at ones, or just please individuals with their requests.

A little patience won't do you any harm. We are just as (mayby more  ??? )  interested as you are!

vr. gr. / regards Erik

What makes you think I am a pro player??   ;D

Being a 'pro' does not make you miss certain things, I think it's the other way around even. Pro players/testers will find MUCH MORE than 'normal users' do, because they know about all the things they should be thinking off.  And it's not like you just sail around and try to 'notice things' either. It's so much more than that.  :)

Myself, I am not a pro tester. I am just like a 'normal player'.    ;D

Hi,

If they are locked, it means you need to purchase them either from the New Horizons add-on, or the Shipyard at www.shipsim.com  ;)
