In August, 1997, the boat was partially sunk at its moorings; a former crew member of the boat was later convicted of sabotage. The proximate cause of the sinking was flooding of the hull via a city water line left connected to a fitting that led into the boat's hull.

The Belle of Louisville was originally the Avalon but built as the Idlewild and did sink at her moorings in '97 by a former crewmate. You get the greenlight

This afternoon the Stena Britannica was involved in another mishap..
She called for tug assistance outside of Rotterdam. The Fairplay 22 went out in bad weather and somehow the tug capsized, possibly due to the stormy conditions. The Fairplay 3 and the RT Magic towed her into port.
They cannot turn the tug rightway up, so divers will go in the water to see if they can find the two men onboard.
It is hoped they have somehow survived in an airpocket.
