The Balclutha, also known as Star of Alaska, Pacific Queen
The only square rigged ship left in the San Francisco Bay area.. She is also in the game as a static ship..

Judging from the funnel, I'd say the ship is Maxim Gorkiy.

They are called ''Mules'' and this picture is taken at the Panama Canal.

Oh yes, they are to precisely manoeuvre Panamax-ships in the narrow locks
