Personally I am very interested in this picture. I am unaware of this vessels name, but I would like to find out as it was one of the undoubted back bone of international trade, and as Mr WM puts it, it is no more nor any less interesting than any other vessel here posted.
So I ask WM not to be distracted and to continue on with his question, to which I seek the answer.
EDIT: Based on its general shape, the image quality and the derricks beside, I would place it in the late 40s/mid 50s. Which would make it a pioneer of containerised cargo and therefore quite interesting after all!
