Hey, does anyone know of a way where I can press Print Screen and have the image auto save to my desktop instead of having to paste it into Photoshop or Paint? Any help would be appreciated.

F7 takes pictures and saves it to the Ship Sim user files.

Fraps can also take pictures in-game.

I use 'hoversnap'

You can set up where you want the screens to end up, and if you can select a folder, then you can also select the desktop, I'm sure.

It can do 'active window' shots, or 'full screen' or partial, where you can drag a rectangle around what you want to capture. And output is jpg, bmp, gif or png

It's free, google it!

If you have any version of Vista except Home Basic, you can use the snipping tool. It is fast after the first time, when you tell it to save to the desktop. After that, it saves there—it overwrites the previous save unless you give a new name.
You can select any area of the screen, including the whole thing.

Wow! I tried it and it worked! Thanks Mary. :) The only thing I don't like about it is that it wont do BMP but it don't matter.
