Why spend so much money on a phone?

I have a samsung gsm of €160 and it works perfectly.

I can call friens, I can sms them.
And that is all it should do!

The last festival I went to one of my friends €450 phone got stolen, so what is the point of a expensive phone then?
So if you like to go out, don't buy a expensive phone biceaus you won't be confortable with it.

Because I need to work while in the move, from my IPhone I can email, text, call, IM, browse the web (admin panels).

My mom can email, check the weather, browse stocks, watch youtube videos.....

All phones do give off quite a bit of Radio Frequency Radiation.  Actually some of a our current phones are worse than the old ones because they have to pump more energy into a smaller translation antenna.

Is that why we get less bright as each day passes? ::)
