Converted to an ugly tug-like vessel...

I think it is a diver support vessel.
Wich I think is a verry good purpose for it!
It probably has vsp propulsion so it is very well manouverable, if you couple that to a dp system you have a perfect working platform for divers.

But I agree that it is ugly. That accomodation is horrible.

The hull shape is completely different!

I suppose the only thing that has stayed the same is the retching as it goes past.

The hull shape is the same, they only cut away the square section.

I like the idea, only the bridge could use a other designer.
