That is only like 5 out of 20 or so vessels. There was another poll a while back that included ALL ships.

Titanic falls into that size range! Where is it?

Perhaps he prefers to sail modern-day vessels.

Anyway, I voted for the Javelin, since it is more versatile in terms of mission building, and also still quite new, so I enjoy her very much at this moment.

I picked POR, it is easy to handle, does not need massive amounts of system resources, and FITS places. :)

Well – without hesitation or apology, the (as yet) single vote for Latitude VLCC, is mine.

I just thoroughly delight in that ship, though she’s neither fast nor agile, she responds extremely well & never hesitates to give all she has.
The model is a beautiful piece of work, I’ve found no notable / significant flaws on her at all – e.g. I’ve never fallen overboard off of her, can’t see through any walls, etc.
I just love that ship – bridge to bow and the very cool stern.

I still think it and the Sherpa are all-in-all the two finest vessels in SS 08.
But then, I love power and pretty – and each have ample supply of both.

  Best regards,
  Chrystine

Although I voted for the "Pride", I like the "Latitude" very much. It's always a challenge to manoeuvre her into suitable waters. The only thing I dislike is the large and ugly box between her funnel and her superstructure. Guess the "Latitude"s exteriour impression would be better without that useless part... ;)

Cheers

It’s amazing what one can see when one doesn’t know what one is really seeing…

  (i.e.. ..Hey!  Don’t ruin my impression! ;) )

For something so utterly utilitarian, I still think she’s a pretty ship; nice clean, smooth surfaces, nice lines – very Laconic.
Looks strong and proud – the way a Titan should (unless just trounced by the Olympians).

I don’t know enough to be troubled by the ‘useless…ugly box.’  ;)

  Best regards,
  Chrystine

We mentioned the same ship, I believe we’re writing about different perspectives.

One small problem with Latitude Chrystine. She has no lifeboats :o. Not funny if she sinks. ;)

   Hi Angus,

     Yes… That would be grievous…  Most un-funny.
..But added incentive to keep her afloat!  ;)

  Okay – I’ll just shut up now…
It’s enough to say I like the ship – most of all those we have in SS 08/NH.
Which honestly, probably surprise(d) me more than anyone.

  Best regards,
  Chrystine

The Jumbo JavElIn offcourse!

It has a few (texture and model) mistakes, but it you can get it everywhere you want as long as it fits. And it does everything you want.

And I love that beautifull realistic bridge.

The Pride...

Easy to manouver (With the right dynamics of course...) and not a bad looking ship, with plenty of detail.

Shame about the crew member though  :(

It must bee the size-to-speed ratio, but when I am in Titanic, I feel like I am going incredibly fast for a >200m ship when she goes at >20 knots!

Once again, it's probably the size-to-speed ratio. Anyone have this info for the game?
