Yes. apparently they are building a new entertainment facility where the engine rooms once were.

Well, They made the QM a hotel and its great, so maybe the same will be for QE2. Maybe you could go spend a night there.

it is very sad that Queen Elizabeth 2 is finish.

but im happy that is are going to be a hotel instead of getting a wreck :)

yes great to see her have a nice easy retirement, sad that her diesel pistons will never turn again. but atleast she gets a nice retirement, i heard they're gonna restore her to her glory days and they expect another 50 years! from her :o i'll be 65 years old, my godh ::)

She was a great ship in her day, but now her age is showing..
Besides, trans-atlantic liners are a thing of the past..It's all about cruise-ships now..
I'm glad they have found a way to keep her.. ;)
