I bought it offline paying the EURO or Pound cost... whatever it is. It works swell.

same here i bought it in the foreign currency, though my bank adds a sneaky little service charge that messes up my checkbook ::)

I found going into google.com and typing "16 pounds in U.S. dollars" would bring a rough estimate up in an automatic "solution." Give that a whirl.
