Control problem in Ship Sim 2008

Dear All,

Is anyone finding that for ALL ships, the controls are like the speedboat controls  ?  ie you have to keep your finger pressed on the throttle and rudder, or they return to neutral immediately.  This occurs on ALL my ships, even the liners, everything, and is very frustrating !

I too, am finding bugs, and generally it's not up to Ship Sim 2006 - AND, I sold my Ship Sim 2006 and add-on pack to upgrade to 2008.

I am sorry to hear of your disappointment a patch is on it's way to correct the bugs. Read more about this in the FAQ

You do not have to keep your finger pressed on the throttle and rudder - use RIGHT SHIFT in combination with the arrow keys to make the controls stay in whatever position you want. Take a look at this topic:
