FSX has much better graphic simulation and slightly better everything else.

BUT

FS2004 will work on just about any computer while FSX barely works on XP let alone Vista.

I have XP, and FSX works fine

And its cool that u can open door by pressing Shift+E

You can have a landing gear failure.

I use FSX in Xp and I have no Problems with FPS of 23

i got 2004 and fsx but fsx broke and has driven me to insanity. but i use 2004 now, no multiplayer or 'living world',man i love the pixelated elephants, also no decent graphics, but 2004 has decent graphics that todays camputers can actually take,fsx needs LOTS OF SPACE. also 2004 has millions of add ons, and im add on crazy, so i just download anything and fly it on 2004, my games full of cars,boats,animals,spacecraft,planes etc . Seriously though, lookin at the other posts on this topic, its like you all buy fsx just because of the failures,mass distasters and deaths

Not at all I use FSX as i find it a very good programme and of better quality than fs 2004, albeit fs 2004  has more downloads but with patience this will become normal for FSX
