Just recently i have downloaded the new patch, and it's looking good.Any problems?

NO that's patch don't exist anymore

It's fantastic, with the 1.4.2 update it seems that ss and NH are faster to open and shut down, it's run bather to and the mission editor sure bather ai traffic has more intelligence top , I sailed a mission taked about 3 hours and made it finish without crash to desktop, this is real fun
so I hope and believe this is the best update ever for the ship simulator 2008
god job their V-step and the team who has worked with this update, tanks,the simulator has been mutsh bather now Thank You

Yes they do and they have always done that. It was programmed that way so it isn't a bug. The devs are aware of this and will have it in mind when making the next SS.

after the 1.4.2 patch a ship if traveling at 16kn once they change envormetnwill still be going 16kn but they did not do that before

I thought I read a not somewhere. Testers reported this issue a few months after the release, but we were told that it wasn't going to be changed anytime soon. Apparently they managed to change this which is great!

Speaking of patches i just want to quickly ask when will the Horn and radio sound pack be available for download, because i know it is finished but have no idea where and when it will be available for download.

Pach 1.4.2 isn't great, i now get a Questviewer error when i leave the game. I'm going back to 1.4

1.4 is 10 times worse it is advised to stay clear of 1.4 and remain with the newer version because it has 95% chances of game crashing.

1.4 are NH so you mean NH is terible and we must stay clear of it?

I think it's the other way around

Since 1.4.2 my games has;

Stopped working
Anchors and Ropes dissapeared
Random crashes mid game and loading
Questviewer error on exit

On 1.4, nothing at all went wrong

This will happen if you are under spec, even if it's only 1 piece of hardware
