if you mean multiplayer, you need v1.3 from shipsim.com in the patches section. then connect to a server and sail with your ship sim pals

As trains said you need 1.3, and then press multiplayer in main menu

Yes it does, New Horizons updates you to Version 1.4 witch includes all previous versions.
