Yeah, that's what I don't get. If you out "Moorage Rope Detail" right up, it doesn't make a difference :(

right now they look like just rope for some reason... >.<

Last night they didn't.

You can see the amount of diesel exhaust coming from those Cat Marine Engines. :)

Hi, there are a couple of pics I'd like to share from the third 'Pusher' mission.
The first one is a strange marriage.
The second one is the all too familiar flying vessels.
And the third one is 'my' interpretation of how to connect to the second lot of barges in the third 'pusher' mission. I have no idea whether this is right but it resulted in a very stable and manouverable state, (although I could only get about 2.8 Kn out of it). :-\

Thanks to Sadsid for the server lastnight, finally been able to use Bugsier properly for what she's designed for :)

Here we are working with Cdt 35 initially on the Latitude, an escort into the harbour, swing, and then pull back to berth finishing off with a push up. My nav lights did catch fire at one point which was a bit concerning considering I was working with a full VLCC  :o

After that, Phanos was having difficulty steering into the harbour, so we tried a push up at around 4knots - Bugsier is great to go sideways. Just as we were entering the harbour, there was a minor capsize though.... anyone interested in seeing the layout of the hull on Bugsier, this might be of interest (I do note however that the pods do not turn when you see them exposed!!).

Later in the evening, the server was still running so came back for more...

A bit of showing off - 5.2knots sideways, this seems about right for a tractor tug I reckon, although I doubt the chief would have been happy!!
Headed out on a job - Bugsier gets an extra knot if you are travelling astern, which means you can beat the competition out to the VLCC.
All fast on the stern of ACR, applying braking power for the entrance to the harbour.
Indirect towing to start off with since we were travelling at over 5knots - the dynamics seem to be working nicely here with a good rate of turn on Latitude.
And finally, direct towing under 5knots for the final pull of the stern round to port.

Nice pictures Alex, it's a shame i couldn't see SADSIDs server. Even if i could i wouldn't of been able to come in, as i only have the SS2006 add-on and i am missing out on the Bugsier.

Just a question, can you place barges for the Herkules to push in multiplayer?

Not sure as ive never tried it, but you get garges on Herkules in free roam so im guessing you can in multiplayer ???
