NH a step into the unknown?
« on: March 26, 2008, 22:48:20 »

I was doing the mission 'Cruiser meeting in the Phi Phi Islands' in the 'Ocean Star' and decided that I needed my walk-through view at the Port side of the bridge, I did as I normally do and walked towards that side of the bridge and took a step too far, ;D. This was my last view of the 'Ocean Star', after that there were only fish in the sky. ;D

I have also lived this experience two or three times with different ships, not in NH. The last one was with Titanic. I don't remember the other ships.

Hi Capetan Thanasis,
I've never had this before, normally when I reach the limits of the bridge I stop!. It was good for a laugh as I saw myself drop slowly to sea level though ;D

The 'New Horizons' addon is great! ;D. In the new missions, (after the initialisation), the mission starts almost instantly. The 'damage' is proportional to the collision and you have to be careful about going alongside anything as any damage affects speed and manouverability, this makes it a much more realistic simulator.

I haven't tried any of the original, (2008), missions yet because the new missions are so interesting but I hope the same effects are present there.
