This is a very important question going out to the VSTEP about the 08 Add-on.So here it is:

Will the SS08 Add-on  be ready to be purchased by Christmas time, because is is part of my wish list.

Hi Third Mate,

I sent pjotr a pm regarding this not to long ago and he replied with a rough idea of around January or February, so if that is correct than it looks like it'll be a late X-mas present if it goes on your list.  :D

The lighthouse, added in the 1820s to aid navigation for vessels using the deep water channels. It is still in use today and plays a central role in the navigational system for ships entering coastal Harbours.

Well then she's looking pretty good  :).... looks like it need time to get those ships fully operational and compatible with SS08...I hope to see it soon  :P

making the Add-on free for download won't be possible I think VSTEP deserves so credit for it so it will be up for sale some time  ;)

With all the requests for free this and that, where is vstep expected to make any money from  ???

I suspect that if you really, really, want lots of freebies then they will just not make anything at all. Makes sense, doesn't it?

I am not naïve, but isn't it Vstep's job to make that out?

I think you worry to much of young people's reply's, just ignore them.

Maybe you have all the money to pay stuff like that, but there are people in here who would have to save money for over a month just to buy shipsim.

And kids can't refuse something that is free.

Yes, I do. But there are other things I would like, but have to save for (Aston Martin DBS for example).

But what is in it for any developer if they have to give something away? I'm not saying that if someone buys something they shouldn't get a bonus, but the developer MUST be properly rewarded for hard work.
