[Resolved] problem with new patch (Licence Key)

the new patch wont except my cd key...? it worked for 1.1 but now 1.3 wont let me use it? can admins pm on how i can fix this? ive reinstalled the patch and still doesnt work. is there away i can get a new cd key?

Where did you buy your game from?

If you licence key is invalid, they are obliged to offer a replacement

well i didnt buy it, my mate bought it and gave it to me. he didnt want it because he thought it would be better or something so he gave it to me, but heres the thing the key worked for the 1.1 patch but wont work on the 1.3 patch any reasons?

That is the problem then.

Is it in the original case?  If it's a download version, it is likely that he gave it to others too, this will make the licence key invalid.  The only solution in this case would be to buy your own version, you won't have any licence key problems with that

dam problem is i dont have a credit card to purchase it, has it come out in australia yet?

yeah but i dont get it, how come it worked for 1.1 but not for 1.3?

I don't really know any Australian Retail stores though, so you may want to run a search on Google, just to check for availability

i ran into a problem, ive check 2 major game stores in australia and not one have ship sim 08

yeah i foind one auran can send it out but how long will it take and its gonna cost way more then to juz purchase it and download it. they want $70 australian plus postage and handling

well i went shopping yesterday for my chrissie present (ss08) but none of the stores in australia have it... last atempt now is to ask my friend to buy it again for me with his credit card and ill download it.
