Hiya Roberto1919 and welcome to the forum

I'm not sure why you posted this in the Ship Simulator 2006 section when you're asking about Ship Simulator 2008, but you can use a Joypad/Joystick with Ship Simulator (both versions)

As for your Vista question, please see the FAQ's for the system requirements:

As you can see, Vista is supported

how do i get the add on? i read the post by jmycfd or whatever his name was (no effence) and i cant find where it says.... get the 2008 add on click hear... can you help?

If I can offer a little tip for you, any 'official' news about Ship Simulator will always be posted in the FAQ's and Announcements section.  You can find this at the top of the main forum page

The particular item you're looking for this time, is here:

What this basically means is that you must have purchased the Ship Simulator 2006 Add-On to be able to get this free Add-On.

If you didn't purchase the 2006 Add-On, the stand-alone 2008 Add-On will be released soon, and you will be able to purchase that
