Light Mapping
« on: December 12, 2009, 23:08:15 »

Hey Fellow ship modelers,

In the even that I ever complete the R/V Hugh R. Sharp and in the event that Mystic Seaport decides to take the Sabino project any further (both are likely) I would like to know how the professional handle their Light Maps.

I don't know a whole lot about light mapping, I don't even know what programs are out there to generate Light Maps.

If any one knows how V-Step's professional Light Mapping is done I would love it if some one could give me a little insight.

A nice tutorial with some good pics might be a great asset to this board, Shane!

Idea perhaps?  ::)
