End of Environment Overide?
« on: December 30, 2013, 12:43:03 »

Just wondering if there is any way of overiding the 'end of environment' element of the game. I always find this the most frustrating feature of Ship Simulator. I don't see why the game can't let you sail off into the distance when it is just sea. For instance, I like sailing out from Portsmouth towards France in the Pride, but only get about 5 mins outside of the port before 'you have reached the end of environment'. I find this so annoying as I want to see Portsmouth disappear into the distance. Any way of allowing the ship to sail off into the open sea whilst seeing land in the distance?

In Multiplay environments it is possible to sail off the map.

What is a multiplay environment? I've never heard of it.

An environment in which you sail with other players. Both SS08 and SSE 2010 have Multiplay environments.
