The T word by itself is nothing "evil". In the matter of fact, many companies distribute their software through torrent protocol in purpose, to relieve stress on their own servers.
I see nothing wrong in providing the download links on their website or via torrent. After all, you need to have the key to activate it (which I do), this is just making it unnecessarily complicated for end user to get to their paid software.
I'm disappointed in total lack of any answer from Vstep.
I contacted them via the contact form on their website - no response.
I ask here - no response.
In the meanwhile, Go2Arena.com is working on this problem and trying to get some links to download the game, but there's still no response from them and there probably won't be, so I'll be left with the key I can't use.
If there's someone who's willing to provide me the links on their "Orders&Download (https://www.shipsim.com/account/downloads)" page, I'd be eternally grateful (you can PM me). It's only game files without any of your info attached to it anyway. Just make sure you're registered Extremes Collection user.

As you can see, if you purchase the game at any store, they are obligated on providing their customers with the actual product. So if you did not receive any download link, you must contact their customer support.
If VSTEP would issue download links to anyone who claimed to own the game without any proof of purchase, they would be bankrupt.
Any pirate with decent Googling skills can find or generate a license key and then say that a certain store did not provide them a download link, generally speaking, I am not saying that you are. But understand that from our perspective it seems strange that a webshop sells license keys, but no actual products.
There are some shops that sell Steam keys though, which use the steam client to download the game. Have you tried registering your key on Steam?
If Go2Arena cannot provide you with the content you purchased, you have your right to demand a full refund due to a faulty product. It seems strange that a store would only partially sell a game that would require the customer to seek for the other half somewhere else.
It's like if a car dealership would only sell car keys and requires the customer to ask for the actual car someplace else.
Bottom line, we cannot issue a download link with just a license key. And no other member is allowed to do so likewise. There is at least a proof of purchase required.
