I know this is the SSE forum but in SS08 you just use the mooring icon and click the cross to disconnect the lines? I don't know about SSE but isn't it roughly the same?

In the picture below, click on the symbol marked no.1. When you do this the mooring points for the barge will light up in red colour (no 2) Click on each red ball to let go of the mooring to the barge. As you click the red balls will turn yellow indicating that that particular line is released. To fasten to a barge click on the yellow balls when the corresponding balls will be illuminated on the barge and you can then connect.

Thnx for the reply.

I meant when you connect the barge to the pusher i can't let go the moorings of the barge connected to the quay.

Hi Bennos,
Is it the mission "Barges Rotterdam" by Rooster24 which you are concerned with? If you note the introduction (see below) the barge moorings are automatically released 15 seconds after you make fast to the barge. This works correctly on my computer. I do not know if there are any other missions in which this happens.  I could be wrong as my memory is getting old, like the rest of me.

Hi Angus,

The mission is Inland traffic Rotterdam.
They do not automatically disconnect.
Where can i find Barges Rotterdam?
When i want to add a mission there's a pretty big list but no Barges Rotterdam.

Hi again Bennos,
I have tried the mission "Inland traffic Rotterdam" and I find the same problem as you do. ??? The notes say the barge moorings will be dropped as soon as "Atlas" is connected to the barge, but this does not happen. As things are right now there is no way to let go the barge moorings. I will see if I can get contact with the mission builder and see if this problem can be fixed.

Hi Bennos,
I attach a zipped folder Of "Barges Rotterdam" which you can extract into your SSE user data/missions folder.

I cannot remember where I got it from!!!!!

Great, thanks!

Same problem with the moorings in "Blocking Pusher" by the way.

Do you have some more of 'barge playing' missions?

I do not understand this problem. Both missions were fully checked before they were accepted and did operate correctly then. ??? ::) I have contacted Rooster24 so I will await his response. Sorry about your disappointment. Unfortunately I have no other complete missions of that type.

Me neither!

I'm having fun with 'Barges Rotterdam' right now :2thumbs:

Thanks for your concern and hoping to hear the fix.

Ben

Same problem in "Barges Rotterdam".
When picking up the barge in "Kortenoordsehaven", 2nd barge of this mission, the aft mooring stays attached on one of the pushing connections.......

Hi Bennos,
There is a new barge mission for you to play called "Sandbarge handling". It is on the download list now. The three previously mentioned are in the process of testing and checking.
