Your dll issue could come from a missing or incorrect install of a Microsoft update. A specific update is required for all programs that use the runtime Visual C + + 2005 SP1 x86 on a 64 bit system.

You should run Unregister.exe, that you can find in the root folder of ShipSim Extremes, and then download and install vcredist_x86.exe (http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=26347).

Good luck,

Your processor is of course supported by Microsoft VC++, there is something preventing the installation of the updated VC++ 2005 runtime. It could be that, Microsoft Update is not automatic, and that other important updates are missing. I assume you have downloaded Shipsim Extremes from VStep's site.
I think that you should unregister, uninstall and reinstall the game, preferably in its default location, as apparently there is something wrong or missing in the game paths.
