downladed updates but error

i downloaded the v1.4 to 1.5 update file but when run, error "unable to locate a valid ship sim extre installation" was displayed. I had the game CD bgt from a shop with valid lic key. registered already. had no problem playing the game via steam.

wonder what's the issue? Can anyone advise? TQ!

The Steam version is automatically updated by steam so you do not need to update

I have the same problem. I bought from playstore.com, not steam. And I cant update my game when i run the install file, I got error.
