Hi Blackwellj, and welcome to the forums.

What exactly doesn't work with it, can you not map assingments to it at all? Or does it only partially work?

I have the previous model of that line, the x45 if I am not mistaken, and it works well. But I never have used a profile. I just mapped the desired assignments to the axis and buttons in the game itself. Does it work if you try that? Perhaps the Saitek software interferes.

Regards,
Fred

Hi blackwellj, I use a Saitek X52 Pro and have no problems with it.
Like Fred, I don't use a profile but assign commands to the diverse buttons and axis.
Here's a guide how to set up controls in SS2008, it's pretty much the same in Extremes..

ps:you may want to register your game here, so you have access to all the other boards (Technical support, etc :)
