I have the same Problem on Windows XP Professional.

I tried to contact on support@shipsim.com <support@shipsim.com> and on the contact form several times but nobody answers.

Time for refund ends in 2 days. So what????

I try every day several times but it's no use. It does not work. I changed Drivers, updated everything possible without any better results.

Mine crashes too. Hopefully this is a common problem and they will have another update soon.   :sleepy:

Have you all read and understood the requirements needed to play Ship Simulator Extremes? The Dxdiag given by "frattonstation" shows that his computer is not up to the standard required to play the game.

Your computer is a bit weak, especially the graphics card, it is 4 years old and only just meets the minimum requirements.

Having said that, there a quite a few people in here run SSE on a lower spec machine than yours but they tend to run it with most of the eye candy lowered and do not have a lot of resource hungry programs running in the background.

Try reducing the load on your CPU & memory by stopping background processes such as W7 gadgets, Skype, Itunes and all those handy little items on the taskbar etc.  Try unplugging any USB devices that are not being used and you can also disable motherboard devices that are not used in the Device manager such as the Modem and Network devices (if you only use WIFI), this action can free up valuable resources.

Hope that helps

PS. try running SSE as administrator, some have reported that, that helps.
